We are happy to announce that the long awaited Sleeping Under 47 album Thirsty and Worthless will be released on July 16, 2009...just in time for the show with Left Alone and The Briggs at Reggie's Rock Club in Chicago! Remember; it's $10 and it's all ages! Hope to see you there!
05.16.09 Koffin Kats Show!
Sleeping Under 47 will be playing with the legendary psychobilly band The Koffin Kats on Friday May 29th with Mostly About Nothing at the End Zone in Aurora, IL. The show starts at 7:00 PM and it's $7 to get in. Get there quickly before the place fills up!
Oh, and sorry kids. It's 21 and over.

02.06.09 S.U.47 has big plans for 2009!!!
First and formost, the confusion of last years supposed 2nd albums release has come full circle and the band is intending on re-recording this entire LP...This means that a few of the songs they have been written since last year will apear on this when we all gets wrapped up sometime this spring!
We are currently busy booking more shows and hope to worm our way into more of the bigger gigs like 2008's shows with TIME AGAIN ,EVERYBODY OUT!, FLATFOOT 56, WEDNESDAY NIGHT HEREOS, LOWER CLASS BRATS, STREET BRATS, JUICEHEAD, as well as this January's Show with THE TOSSERS.
We had a great time in 2008 and plan to make this year even better, more songs,more all ages shows, more internet radio play, more venues, and there is even talk of a small tour this summer!
Thanks to all of you who stood by us through the last 3 years and we plan to pay you back in 2009!!!

03.18.08 2008 Full length album update!!!
So last November we began the process of recording our 2nd full length album..
All the songs that we had been playing for the last two years will be on here
and few you have never before heard, and never expected to hear!!! The process
has been going better than ever and we are very proud of the work that we have done...
As of right now we are hoping to have it completed and in your hands this April...S.U.47
